Indians top list of foreign skilled professionals in Norway

According to Norwegian Immigration Department figures for 2007, Indian skilled professionals constitute one-fourth of the total foreign qualified professionals inducted in Norwegian firms in the given year.

Employers slashed 80,000 jobs in March

At the same time, the national unemployment rate rose from 4.8 percent to 5.1 percent, the clearest signal yet that the economy might already be shrinking.

US firm offers Rs 36 lakh pa salary to 20 students

The final selection of the candidates will be subject to H1B visa clearance from the US embassy, a release said today.

Man works for 14 years after retirement without salary

Rabindranath Bhadra, a former employee of Jagatballavpur Block Health Centre, still gets ready and set off to work by 6.00 am daily as was his routine before his retirement in 1995.

United States moots new H-1B visa rules

Indians advised to look for jobs on mission visa
Submitted by jimmy elias on Fri, 2008-01-04 17:29.Job-seekers who wish to come to the UAE to look for employment opportunities can opt for a ‘Mission Visa’, instead of a visit visa, Talmiz Ahmad, the Indian ambassador to the UAE, said at a Press conference held on the embassy premises here yesterday.
The Mission Visa, he said, will be valid for three months, during which the job-seekers can scout for jobs, Ahmad said.
