Navathy celebrations conclude

The three-day navathy celebrations of Guru Ammannur Madhava Chakyar concluded here on Sunday. Glowing tributes were paid for the services of the koodiyattom maestro for popularising the age-old Sanskrit theatre at the valedictory meeting that was presided over by Revenue Minister K P Rajendran.

It was inaugurated by Speaker K Radhakrishnan. A memento was presented to the Chakyar by Thomas Unniyadan MLA. Thrissur corporation Mayor R Bindu presented the citation.
