Eight persons, including 3 women arrested

Eight persons, including three women, were arrested from an Ayurveda massage centre at Athani near here for allegedly indulging in immoral activities. They were identified as Usha (40), Ahannya (22), Anilakumari (32), Suresh (31), Shivaprasad(27), Padmakumar (42), Krishnankutty (68) and Biju(30), police said.

Krishnankutty and Biju were reportedly running the brothel under the guise of an Ayurveda Massage Centre.

The accused will be produced before Aluva Judicial first class Magistrate today.
