Justice Dattu sworn in as Kerala CJ

Justice H L Dattu was today sworn in as Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court.

Justice Dattu was administered the oath by Kerala Governor R L Bhatia at the Raj Bhavan.

A former Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court, Justice Dattu succeeded Justice V K Bali who retired as Kerala High Court Chief Justice two months back.

Justice Dattu was enrolled as an advocate in Karnataka in 1975 and he became a High Court judge there in 1995.

Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan and Opposition leader Oommen Chandy were present.
