Kerala High Court dismisses PIL on Smart city project
The Kerala High Court today dismissed a PIL seeking a direction to the state government to publish the agreement executed between the state and Dubai-based TECOM for the Smart City project in Kochi.
The PIL filed by Advocate Roy Thomas of Kochi also sought for a further direction to TECOM to bear all land acquisition cost in connection with the project.
When the matter came up before a Division Bench, comprising Chief Justice H L Dathu and Justice K T Sankaran, the bench observed that it will not interfere in the matter.
The petition was then dismissed as withdrawn
