SRUTHI`s third annual on March 29 in County Durham

Film actor Murali`s extremely powerful solo play 'Lanka Lakshmi', Ganamela by Albert Vijayan and Sethu Warrier, classical and folk dances choreographed by Mayadevi Kurup will brighten the evening at Sruthi`s third birthday celebrations in County Durham from 4 pm on March 29.

The venue is East Durham Community College, Peterlee, County Durham. Bharat Murali, the National award winning Malayalam movie and stage actor and Chairman of Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy will be the chief guest.
Murali will present his much-acclaimed solo version of the famous drama 'Lanka Lakshmi' by the late C N Sreekantan Nair. This will be a unique experience for theatre and drama lovers and Sruthi has great pleasure in featuring Bharat Murali on this programme.

The talented artists of Sruthi will present a spectacular display of classical and folk dances choreographed by Dr Mayadevi Kurup. The evening will also feature humorous skits and short plays. A themed ganamela comprising film songs based on popular classical Raagas will be led by Dr Sethu Wariyar and will feature a live orchestra led by Albert Vijayan on key board and Manoj Siva on Tabla.
