Kochi rocked with pop singer and award-winning playback singer Shaan on Saturday night as he belted out hits like 'Bum bum bhole' from 'Taare Zameen Par' and crooned several other hits giving the crowd something to enjoy on a rainy day. Shaan was here for the 'Idea rocks India', series organised by mobile service provider, Idea.

Earlier, in an interaction with the press, Shaan said that the practice of choosing winners through SMS votes in reality television shows was good, but that it should not be based on caste or region.
