The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi, has invited applications for an entrance test to be held on May 20. The programmes for which admission are to be made are postgraduate diploma courses in journalism (English at the branches in New Delhi and Dhenkanal in Orissa; Hindi at New Delhi and Oriya at Dhenkanal); radio and television journalism (New Delhi); and advertising and public relations (New Delhi). The courses start in August and end in April 2009.

Details of admission can be had from the www.iimc.gov.in. Online application facilities have been provided. The last date for the receipt of completed applications is April 16.
