Roy and Jessie (Woody Harrelson, Emily Mortimer) are a married couple taking a simple vacation on the Trans-Siberian train that travels all the way from China to Moscow. However, unbeknownst to Roy, there may be a more sinister reason for the trip. Jessie is smuggling heroin on board the train and the two find themselves stuck between a man calling himself a police detective (Ben Kingsley) and another pair of mysterious travelers (Kate Mara, Eduardo Noriega).
