The Tiger - Malayalam Movie Starring Suresh Gopi

The Tiger - Malayalam Movie begins with a press conference held by vigilance IG Varma who is a cancer patient. In the conference he tries to bring out the corruptions in his department. But this conference affects MP John Varghese and CM of the state. The very next day morning Varma is found shot dead on his bed with a revolver on his hand.

Primary investigations point that he committed suicide bcoz of the thought that he was a cancer patient.All evidence received pointed to his suicide. At this stage the investigation from the side of local police fails and the investigation charge is handed over to crime branch DYSP ‘Tiger Chandrasekhar’ alias Chandrasekhar. He is well known as ‘Tiger’ inside his department as he takes only a short time to solve a case.Chandrasekhar starts his game on the field with his assistant Sudev.

On the halfway of their procedure Chandrasekhar finds that the death of IG was not a suicide instead was a cold blooded murder.Meanwhile Suhara and Kishore ,two journalists tracks down the illicit business dealings of revenue minister Varkkichan, who is a silent partner in MP’s illegal dealings.This leads to the missing of the journalists leaving the case more complicated.

At this time a new member also joins Chandran’s team,Pothen.As the investigation procedure moves forward three member team finds Suhara in an unconscious state from a thick forest where Kishore was burned alive.While taking Suhara from the forest to the hospital in an ambulance the three member gang is being attacked by an armed force.After a narrow escape a doubt arises in Chandrasekhar that one among his cops is a spy.

Hold your breath and start watching carefully from here.The real hunt along with the suspense begins now .Suhara loses her ability to speak as she was in a shock of witnessing Kishore’s murder. Through Suhara, how Chandrasekhar cracks the mystery forms the rest of the story.

The most highlight of the film is the unexpectable suspense that is maintained till the climax .Its really a tough job to maintain the suspense till the end of a film. The credit goes to both, the scriptwriter Unnikrishnan and the director. Shaji Kailas has done a perfect job in doing the movie. From the very beginning the film provides a shot by shot suspense to the viewers and the main suspense breaks out only in the climax.Unlike usual Suresh Gopi films hard hitting dialougues are absent in the movie.Editing by donmax and camera tricks used in the film are surely remarkable and appreciable.

The cast includes Janardhanan, Suvarna, Subair, Sudheer, Saikumar, Gopika, Vineeth Kumar, Sreeraman etc. Suresh Gopi has given a very impressive performance as Chandrasekhar.Again he proves that he is the only one who is more fit for police roles in malayalam film industry.Even though Rajmohan Unnithan makes a debut through this film,he has given a very good performance as the CM.Short but excellent fight sequences by Mafia Sasi and Anal Arasu does not drag the movie for long time like usual Shaji Kailas movies.The only song by shaan is also good.

In short this film will be a different treat for those who love police movies, especially for Suresh Gopi fans.
