Social media influencer and Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 6 contestant Jasmine M. Jaffer has opened up about her experiences in the year 2024, describing it as a rollercoaster of joy and sorrow. Known for her outspoken nature, Jasmine faced both praise and harsh criticism during her Bigg Boss journey and beyond.Speaking about the past year, Jasmine shared, “2024 was a year that I truly felt. The years 2022 and 2023 passed without me even noticing, but 2024 was different. It began with dreams coming true. I was able to buy a car for my aunt and gifts like earrings for my mother. Those were moments of immense pride for me.”
Her Bigg Boss Experience
However, Jasmine’s entry into Bigg Boss brought significant challenges. “A lot of things happened, both good and bad. I gained a true friend, Gabri (Gabriel), and the show felt like more than just three months; it felt like one and a half years. Becoming the second runner-up was an achievement.But starting from the second or third week, the level of cyberbullying was unbearable. It was hard for my family and me to cope. Still, holding that trophy after 100 days was a feeling of indescribable joy. But after leaving the house, I faced sleepless nights, panic attacks, and emotional struggles. Now, I am at a stage where I don’t even want to recognize what is sadness or disappointment.”
Achievements and Losses
Despite the difficulties, Jasmine celebrated several milestones. “I managed to buy my own flat and truly call myself an independent woman. That’s something I’m very proud of. But it was also a year of significant losses—friendships and love disappeared.I had a close friend, someone I deeply cared for, but that friendship ended. I made the decision to let go, but losing someone you thought would always stand by you is painful. It became a trauma for me. Since then, I’ve developed trust issues and find it hard to trust anyone. I was once an extrovert, but now I’ve turned into an extreme introvert.”
Looking Ahead
Reflecting on her journey, Jasmine said, “2024 was an extremely difficult year. There were many tears, disappointments, and heartbreaks, but this chapter is finally ending. I hope for an amazing year ahead.”Jasmine’s fans eagerly await her next steps, hoping she will continue to inspire and overcome challenges with the same resilience she has shown so far.

Chithram was released during a Christmas weekend on 23 December 1988. The film was a phenomenal success at the Kerala box-office, it broke all existing records in Malayalam cinema until then.[1] It had a theatrical run of more than 366 days in Ernakulam Little Shenoys, with regular shows, and theatrical run of 300 days in Thiruvananthapuram Ajantha and more than 200 days in Kottayam Asha, Palakkad Priya, Chengalai Chithra with noon shows. It is one of the highest-grossing films in Malayalam film history.[2] It collected more than ₹3 crore from theatres
