The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, has found itself embroiled in controversy just days ahead of its December 5th release. The issue stems from an alleged fallout between the film’s music composer Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) and producer Ravi Shankar over delays in delivering songs and background scores. Reports suggesting tension between the two have been making rounds, fueling speculation about behind-the-scenes disagreements.
DSP’s Public Response
At a promotional event held in Chennai, Devi Sri Prasad openly addressed the allegations. Referring to Ravi Shankar’s criticisms, he remarked:
“Where there is love, there will also be complaints. But it feels like there are more complaints than love here.” DSP revealed that the producer had accused him of not delivering the songs and background music on time, a claim he countered during the event: “You blame me for being late or not delivering on time. I know you love me, but it seems you have more complaints than love. Even today, I arrived 20-25 minutes before the event started, but I was asked to wait to make a grand entry for the cameras. Honestly, I feel shy doing that. I am confident only when I am on stage. Offstage, I am one of the shyest people you’ll meet.”
Addressing the rumors, DSP concluded by saying he was ready for a constructive discussion if necessary, putting the focus back on the film and its promotions.
Promotions in Full Swing
Despite the tension, the promotional campaigns for Pushpa 2 continue to gather momentum. The team has been visiting various cities, including Chennai and Bihar, where Allu Arjun has received an overwhelming response. They are set to arrive in Kerala soon.
