Shane Nigam the son of the late actor Kalabhavan Abi, has carved a significant place for himself in the South Indian film industry, particularly in Tamil cinema. Despite his success in numerous hit films, he has faced several controversies that have impacted his career. Recently, he expressed concerns that there are individuals deliberately trying to bring him down.
Shane is currently starring in the Tamil film Madrasakaran, which was released alongside the Pongal festivities. However, the movie received negative reactions, and Shane took to the media to urge people not to spread hate. He emphasized the importance of expressing one’s opinions but discouraged the promotion of negativity. He revealed that some people have been attempting to harm his career intentionally, but he firmly believes in the concept of divine justice. Shane said, “God is there, and justice will prevail. I have faith in that.”
The actor also mentioned how his father, Kalabhavan Abi, had similarly faced efforts to undermine him in the industry. “Just like how people tried to suppress my father, now they are trying to do the same with me. My father was a great actor and a good person, and so am I,” Shane said, referring to the challenges they both faced.
Shane Nigam’s journey to stardom has not been easy. He initially struggled in reality shows but gained attention through television serials before making his debut as a lead actor in the film Kismath. While his father, Kalabhavan Abi, had his share of struggles in achieving leading roles in films, Shane has faced his own set of controversies, including allegations from filmmakers and being restricted from certain projects.
The actor’s last Malayalam film was Little Hearts, and despite the challenges he has faced, Shane continues to maintain his belief in his craft and his integrity as an actor.
