Chithram (English: Picture) is a 1988 Indian Malayalam-language screwball comedy film written and directed by Priyadarshan. The film was produced by P. K. R. Pillai for Shirdi Sai Creations, and stars Mohanlal, Ranjini, Nedumudi Venu, Poornam Vishwanathan, Sreenivasan, M. G. Soman, Sukumari, Lizy, Maniyanpilla Raju, and Shanavas, while Thikkurissy Sukumaran Nair makes a cameo appearance. The songs were composed by Kannur Rajan and film score by Johnson.

Kalyani (Ranjini) decides to marry her boyfriend Ravi (Shanavas) against her father Ramachandra Menon's (Vishwanathan) wishes. But Ravi breaks up when he comes to know that she would be disinherited. Kalyani's father, who stays in the United States, is unaware of the break up and comes home in Kerala to spend time with his daughter and son-in-law. This prompts family friend and Advocate Kaimal (Venu) to hire a thief, Vishnu (Mohanlal) to act as Kalyani's husband during Menon's vacation stay.

Chithram was released during a Christmas weekend on 23 December 1988. The film was a phenomenal success at the Kerala box-office, it broke all existing records in Malayalam cinema until then.[1] It had a theatrical run of more than 366 days in Ernakulam Little Shenoys, with regular shows, and theatrical run of 300 days in Thiruvananthapuram Ajantha and more than 200 days in Kottayam Asha, Palakkad Priya, Chengalai Chithra with noon shows. It is one of the highest-grossing films in Malayalam film history.[2] It collected more than ₹3 crore from theatres

Aham is the story of Sidharthan (Mohanlal), who grew up in a disciplined and strict environment and tried to lead his family life along similar lines. But his wife (Urvasi) cannot adjust to his crazy lifestyle. She wants to become self-reliant but this creates suspicion in Siddharthan's mind. In a resulting argument and physical struggle, she gets pushed from the balcony and goes into a coma. This makes Siddharthan lose his mental balance. Later he ends up in a mental asylum and leads a spiritual life there.

Raveendran composed the film's original soundtrack, the lyrics were written by Kavalam Narayana Panicker and Konniyoor Das. All songs was sung by K. J. Yesudas.

Story: Theetta Rappai is an adorable indulgent person who lives in a town in Thrissur. He experiences an uncommon condition that makes him hungry constantly. His cherishes Kochuthresia yet his condition keeps him from taking his affections any further. Whenever Kochuthresia and her sisters are bothered by neighborhood goons driven by a merciless Karim Seth, the friendly TheettaRappai goes up against them which prompts sad outcomes. The film featuring RLV Ramakrishnan begins with a tribute to late Kalabhavan Mani, who should play the lead.

Theetta Rappayi has an unquenchable appetite and the primary half demonstrates his life in the town and his association with the individuals. TheettaRappai does tasks and partakes in neighborhood eating challenges. He adores Kochuthresia (Sonia), who likewise prefers him yet they never do something besides pass stealthy looks at one another.

The chief of the film, up until this point, is intensely impacted by Vinayan style attempting to inject tenderness with extended passionate scenes. The story-line takes after Mani's more seasoned movies, yet without impact. Ramakrishnan makes a decent attempt and is OK in parts, however, he can't measure up to his sibling. In spite of being a buzzword job, Mani could have added his trademark spunk to the procedures. A ton of stock diversion and nostalgic scenes are there, however, yields little outcomes.

First half finishes with Rappai vocally undermining the scalawag Saheb (Harish Peradi). KPAC Lalitha plays Rappai's step mother. Sai Kumar plays a well-wisher who utilizes him at times.
