The release date of Ghatthi the highly anticipated film by acclaimed director Krish Jagarlamudi and actress Anushka Shetty, has been announced. The film is set for a global release on April 18, 2025. A recently released glimpse video hints that Anushka will portray a fierce and aggressive character in this action-packed thriller.
Produced by Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi under the banner of UV Creations, Ghatthi marks Anushka’s fourth collaboration with the production house. This is also Anushka and Krish’s reunion after their blockbuster hit Vedam. The first look poster, released earlier on Anushka’s birthday, had already garnered much attention.
Following the pan-Indian sensation of Baahubali, Ghatthi is another eagerly awaited pan-Indian project from Anushka. The announcement of the release date was made through a fun video featuring Anushka, Krish, and the producers. The release date poster showcases Anushka in a powerful avatar, draped in a saree, with the tagline “Victim, Criminal, Legend.”
The film explores themes of humanity, survival, and redemption, promising to be a grand action thriller. Created on a massive budget with top-notch technical standards, Ghatthi is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, ensuring a pan-Indian reach.
