Ranju Ranjimar a well-known makeup artist in Kerala, has faced numerous challenges in life as a member of the transgender community. She has often shared her struggles openly on social media, earning widespread respect. Her posts and videos frequently go viral, thanks to her active presence online.
In a recent interview, Ranju spoke about the lack of opportunities in the celebrity makeup field. She linked this to her stand on the actress assault case, explaining, “After I took a stand and testified in the case, I started receiving fewer opportunities. Events happen, actresses I used to work with participate, but I’m not called anymore. I don’t know why. Even the actresses who supported the survivor didn’t support me later. That raised a question in my mind,” she shared.
Ranju expressed her gratitude towards actress Mamta Mohandas, who supported her during a tough phase by offering her work. “Mamta stood by me when I needed it the most. I will always be indebted to her,” Ranju added.
Ranju’s candid comments about having a fleeting crush on an actor have also caught attention. “I’ve worked with many models and actors in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu cinema, but I’ve never really had a crush. Crushes are fleeting—they last only seconds. Even if they’re married, you might admire a good person. That’s natural. But I wouldn’t call it a crush.I once had a momentary liking for Vijay Deverakonda. It lasted just a few seconds. But after talking to him, that crush faded,” she revealed.
Ranju also spoke about social media friendships, saying, “Anyone I like on Instagram is my Insta friend. We chat sometimes, maybe after they ask for feedback or I comment on their reels. A like we give them is motivation. You can spot who genuinely likes you by checking who views your stories. Those who like your stories are the ones who care for you, but it’s not necessarily romantic love.”Ranju’s statements, as always, have gone viral in the cyber world, sparking discussions among her followers.
