I was advised not to visit the child or the family,” says Allu Arjun

Following his release from jail Telugu actor Allu Arjun faced backlash after images of him celebrating with colleagues and industry friends surfaced online. Critics questioned his actions, pointing out that the son of Revathi—a woman who tragically lost her life in a theater stampede during the Pushpa 2 premiere—is still in critical condition at the hospital.

Addressing these criticisms, Allu Arjun clarified his stance via social media. He explained that his legal team had advised him against visiting the hospitalized child or the grieving family due to ongoing legal proceedings.

“I am deeply concerned about the child’s health following that unfortunate incident. However, I have been instructed not to meet the child or the family at this time. Any visit could be misinterpreted as an attempt to influence witnesses during the legal process. I am praying for the child’s recovery and hope to meet the family as soon as possible,” wrote Allu Arjun.

The incident occurred during the Pushpa 2 premiere at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad’s Dilsukhnagar on December 4. Revathi (39) tragically lost her life in the stampede that broke out after Allu Arjun made a surprise appearance at the theater. She had attended the event with her husband Bhaskar and their children, Sriteja and Sanvik.

After his release, Allu Arjun was visited by several industry colleagues, including Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Daggubati, and director Sukumar. He and his family also visited his uncle, actor Chiranjeevi, at his residence, and their photos together quickly went viral. However, these celebrations drew sharp criticism, with many questioning his sensitivity towards the ongoing tragedy involving Revathi’s family. The situation has sparked widespread discussion, with fans and critics divided over Allu Arjun’s actions during this difficult time.
