It will return with interest – Nayanthara’s Instagram post aimed at Dhanush

Amid a legal battle over copyright with Dhanush, Nayanthara’s recent Instagram post has caught attention. The post is based on the concept of karma: “If you destroy someone’s life with lies, consider it a loan. It will return to you with interest.” This post was shared shortly after Nayanthara’s lawyer responded to a legal notice regarding the Netflix documentary “Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale.”

Nayanthara responded, denying any copyright infringement. Her lawyer clarified that the footage used in the documentary was not from the film but from a private library, and was personal footage. Dhanush had alleged that three seconds of behind-the-scenes footage from his movie “Naanum Rowdy Thaan” were used without permission and demanded ₹10 crore in damages, also requesting that the footage be removed within 24 hours.

Her lawyer, Rahul Dhawan, further clarified that the footage used was from a personal collection, not from the film’s making video, and therefore there was no violation. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for December 2nd at the Madras High Court. Nayanthara, her partner Vignesh Shivan, and the production house Rowdy Pictures Private Limited are all being represented by Rahul Dhawan.

The documentary “Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale,” which includes insights into Nayanthara’s life, began streaming on Netflix on November 18.

In any case, Nayanthara’s Instagram post, which reads “If you destroy someone’s life with lies, consider it a loan. It will return to you with interest,” continues to spark discussions across social media.
