The much-anticipated collaboration between Mammootty and Mohanlal has left Malayalam cinema fans thrilled. The film’s primary shooting location is Colombo, and the latest update comes straight from the sets. Actor Kunchacko Boban shared pictures from the shooting location on social media, including a memorable photo with both Mammootty and Mohanlal.
Previously, both Mammootty and Mohanlal had arrived in Colombo, accompanied by their close associates. A fun-filled photo of Mohanlal with producer Antony Perumbavoor and Mammootty with his friend and prominent producer Anto Joseph has already caught fans’ attention. A video of Mammootty arriving in Colombo alongside Antony Perumbavoor also went viral, sparking excitement.
The movie is directed by Mahesh Narayanan, and reports suggest the use of de-aging technology to film flashback sequences. If implemented, this will mark the first use of this technology in Malayalam cinema, creating a significant milestone. Flashback scenes featuring both Mammootty and Mohanlal are expected to be the highlight of the film.
The last Mohanlal-starrer to hit the screens was Malaikottai Vaaliban, directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. Despite high expectations, the film did not perform well at the box office. It featured an ensemble cast, including Sonalee Kulkarni, Manikandan R. Achari, and Rajeev Pillai, with music by Prashant Pillai and cinematography by Madhu Neelakandan.
