Sadhika Venugopal is a well-known actress in both television and film industries and has also worked as a host and appeared in various advertisements. She became especially popular with family audiences through her role in the serial Pattusari on Mazhavil Manorama. Sadhika is active on social media, where her photoshoots often go viral.
Recently, she revealed that her photos have been misused by some to gain reach by adding inappropriate captions and thumbnails. “I have seen my pictures circulated with various titles on different pages,” Sadhika shared.
She further added, “In Dubai, several massage centers use my photos as covers. People send me pictures of these from there, sometimes asking if they can see me there. I jokingly tell them they can try. Perhaps they believe we won’t notice, but with Malayalis spread worldwide, someone will eventually spot and send it to me. Initially, it used to upset me, wondering why people would misuse my photos with unpleasant captions and thumbnails. But now, I feel they probably think I am helping them earn their livelihood.”
Sadhika also recounted a funny experience related to her film Breaking News. While she was still working on the serial Pattusari, Breaking News—in which she had a dance role—was released. She played a character in retro attire, which contrasted with her traditional role in the serial. She received a call from the channel asking why her image didn’t match the character’s. She explained that it was an old movie released later and not something she could control.
At that time, there were strict restrictions regarding her appearance for the Pattusari serial, as her character was a traditional village girl, so she couldn’t wear jeans or do photoshoots that didn’t match her on-screen image. Months ago, Sadhika had also openly shared about her marriage and the separation that followed.
