Manjummal Boys one of Malayalam cinema’s biggest box office successes, brought nationwide recognition to director Chidambaram. Now, the acclaimed filmmaker is gearing up for his Bollywood debut. While there has been speculation about his next project, Chidambaram had not confirmed any details—until now.
In an interview with Club FM, Chidambaram revealed that his upcoming Bollywood project will be a gangster drama. When asked about the movie, he shared:“The project is still in the development stage. Casting is underway. The story is set against the backdrop of Mumbai and revolves around a gangster drama. The film is being produced by Phantom Studios. I am writing the screenplay, and a Hindi dialogue writer is also on board. That’s all I can share for now.”
Phantom Studios had officially announced Chidambaram’s Bollywood debut last July.
