Pearly Knows What to Post”: Aadil Ibrahim Shares Insights

Pearly Maaney has been a trending topic on social media recently due to allegations made by actress Merin Michael. Merin accused Pearly of refusing to anchor a show where Merin was a guest. Pearly responded, clarifying that her decision was not due to personal differences but because of unresolved payment issues with the channel.

However, Merin countered by alleging that Pearly had spoken to her disrespectfully before cutting the call. This incident brought significant criticism toward Pearly, marking one of the first major controversies in her career. Amidst this, actor and presenter Aadil Ibrahim has shared his past experiences with Pearly, with whom he co-anchored the show D4 Dance several years ago.

In an interview with Jango Space TV, Aadil reflected on Pearly’s journey, stating that she had always aspired for the growth and popularity she enjoys today. “Even back then, Pearly knew exactly what to post, how to interact with people, and when to upload her next video. Her focus was always on content and how to engage with her audience. That was her personality, but I am not that kind of person,” Aadil said.

Recalling their time on D4 Dance, Aadil shared, “Pearly’s energy on set was unmatched. Once the shoot was over, I would shift back to my own calm self, but Pearly carried that drive and vision for success. Her passion for such things is evident even today.”

Aadil also mentioned that Pearly’s stint on Bigg Boss right after D4 Dance was a perfect fit for her. “I was invited to Bigg Boss too but didn’t feel it was for me. Pearly, however, met Srinish [her husband] there, and they make an amazing couple,” he added.

Speaking about their partnership, Aadil praised Pearly and Srinish, saying, “They complement each other well. Srinish makes the decisions, while Pearly focuses on everything else. We occasionally talk, and I genuinely feel happy for her. Pearly and Srinish built their YouTube channel and brand together, which is inspiring.”

Aadil also reflected on their work in award shows and competitive programs, highlighting that while award shows demand decorum, competition shows offer the freedom to have a little fun. “Pearly and I had great chemistry hosting together, and I’m glad to see her doing so well,” Aadil concluded.
