Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is making waves at the global box office, smashing records and setting new benchmarks. The film has already crossed the ₹800 crore mark worldwide. On its opening day alone, it grossed over ₹300 crore globally, marking one of the biggest opening collections in Indian cinema history.
Reports suggest that Pushpa 2 is set to become the fastest Indian film to reach the ₹1000 crore milestone. After just four days since its release, the movie’s staggering box office numbers have left everyone in awe. It is performing exceptionally well not only in India but also in international markets. Interestingly, the Hindi version has garnered more appreciation than the original Telugu version. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared on social media that the movie has surpassed ₹800 crore and is well on its way to the ₹1000 crore mark. The Hindi version alone has earned over ₹80 crore in India.
Pushpa 2 has already outperformed the lifetime collection of its predecessor, which grossed ₹350 crore globally. The sequel achieved this feat in just two days. On Sunday alone, the film collected approximately ₹160 crore, solidifying its path to becoming the fastest film to cross ₹1000 crore.
Allu Arjun reprises his iconic role as Pushpa Raj, a sandalwood smuggler, while Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil plays the antagonist. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead, and the film features a stellar cast, including Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, and Sunil.
Reports also reveal that Allu Arjun was paid a massive ₹300 crore for his role in Pushpa 2. This is double the remuneration of Indian superstars like Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Vijay, Ajith, and Prabhas. Fans are celebrating the film’s success and anticipating its entry into the coveted ₹1000 crore club, making it a landmark achievement for Indian cinema.
