Animal” is a Bollywood blockbuster directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, starring superstar Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. The film, which received immense audience appreciation, grossed ₹900 crore at the box office. At the end of the movie, the director had announced its sequel, Animal Park.
Now, actor Ranbir Kapoor has shared further updates about the franchise. Not only is a second part in the works, but the director is also planning a third installment, Ranbir revealed. He added that the shooting for Animal Park, the sequel, is expected to commence in 2027.
“We’ve been discussing how to take the story forward since the first part. I’m thrilled about the idea of playing both the hero and the villain in the same film. It’s a project I have high hopes for, and Sandeep Reddy Vanga is a truly original filmmaker,” Ranbir said during an interview with the YouTube channel Deadline Hollywood.
Animal is the highest-grossing film of Ranbir Kapoor’s career. Made on a budget of ₹100 crore, the movie earned approximately ₹915.53 crore at the box office. The cast also included prominent actors like Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Shakti Kapoor, Tripti Dimri, and Bobby Deol. The performances of Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri particularly stood out, garnering widespread attention from audiences.
