Sukumar’s Journey from a 4 Crore Budget Debut to the Success of Arya to 400 crore Pushpa 2

Sukumar, who hails from the small village of Mattaparru in Andhra Pradesh, began his journey in the film industry in a humble manner. He was the youngest of six children born to Tirupati Rao Naidu, a rice trader, and Veeravani. After completing his studies, Sukumar initially ventured into teaching before making his way into scriptwriting. His big break came when he got to narrate a story to producer Dil Raju, leading to his directorial debut in 2004 with Arya, starring Allu Arjun. The film, made on a modest budget of 4 crore rupees, was a surprise success, earning around 30 crore at the box office.

Fast forward 20 years, and Sukumar’s career has reached new heights. His latest project, Pushpa 2: The Rule, has a budget of over 400 crore rupees. The film, which is set to release worldwide on December 5, 2024, is expected to be one of the biggest visual spectacles in Indian cinema. All post-production work has been completed, and the film is now ready for release.

With high expectations surrounding Pushpa 2, the film promises to be a complete package with mass dialogues, stunning visuals, electrifying music, and thrilling action scenes.
