When asked why her number of movies has decreased, Tanya clarified, “I am not someone who accepts every offer that comes my way. I only choose movies that truly resonate with me. That might be why the number seems limited.” She also mentioned that she’s now receiving opportunities in web series and acted in one titled Paper Rocket.
Seeking Permission for a Kissing Scene
During the interview, Tanya shared a unique story about her experience in Paper Rocket. When asked to perform a kissing scene, she sought her mother’s permission before proceeding. This sparked a debate on social media, with many asking why she needed her mother’s approval. Tanya explained, “Of course, I had to ask. I had never done such a scene before. Asking my mom for permission is a habit of mine, and that’s why I did so.”

Apart from being an actress, Tanya is also a trained classical dancer and enjoys freestyle dance as well. Another passion of hers is food—her favorite dishes include pani puri and parotta, though she indulges in them only occasionally. When asked if she knows how to cook, Tanya responded humorously, “I do know how to cook, but I’m not an expert. I can manage basics like sambar, rasam, dosa, and chutney. If I need to make something special, I either check YouTube or ask my mom for the recipe.”

When asked about her thoughts on love, Tanya admitted, “I don’t know. I’ll be able to share once I experience it. Love is beautiful when it happens. But as of now, I’m not in love with anyone, so I can’t describe that feeling.”
