Realizing he was a fraud, I ended the relationship

Actress Tesni Khan known for her years of experience in the entertainment industry, began her artistic journey through Kochin Kalabhavan. She debuted in films with the 1988 movie Daisy and has since acted in over 125 Malayalam films, portraying a variety of characters, primarily in comedic roles. She was also a key figure in the iconic television show Cinemala, which revolutionized comedy programs.At 54, Tesni Khan’s personal life has often intrigued her fans. She had a brief marriage that ended quickly, with Tesni previously revealing that her husband failed to provide support.

Now, Tesni has opened up further about this chapter in her life. She shared, “When I realized he was a fraud, I decided to end it. Within a month, I cut off the relationship. After that, I was scared and decided to leave that chapter behind.”

Tesni also reflected on her childhood, mentioning, “My mother’s and father’s families were wealthy, but my father always believed in self-reliance. He would say, ‘Our family, our world.’ I took charge of financial matters, which helped me manage things well. My mom was very lavish, always helping people with the money she had. Our house was always filled with guests and relatives. Now, when I think about it, I wonder how she managed it all. These days, if she gets ₹50, I only tell her she received ₹25,” she said with a laugh.

Talking about her sister, Tesni added, “My sister is happily married in Thodupuzha to a wonderful husband. She has three kids and a good life. I am happy now too, living peacefully without any tension. This idea that a woman must marry to survive feels outdated to me.”She also recalled how marriage was almost imposed on women in her early years: “When I entered the film industry, I was just 18 or 19, and marriage was considered mandatory at that age. But due to certain responsibilities, I stayed in this field. I even received proposals back then.”

Tesni continues to remain active in the entertainment industry, with the unwavering support of her parents playing a significant role in shaping her career. Her recent revelations about her life and choices have sparked conversations among fans and the public alike.
