The release date of the film Praavinkoodu Shappu starring Soubin Shahir, Basil Joseph, and Chemban Vinod Jose in lead roles, has been announced. The movie will hit theaters on January 16. The previously released trailer, which captivated audiences, hinted at a thrilling plot surrounding a counterfeit shop, criminal activities, and subsequent investigations. The film is set in the dark humor genre.
Produced by Anwar Rashid under the banner of Anwar Rashid Entertainments, Praavinkoodu Shappu is directed by debutant Sree Raj Srinivasan. The movie was filmed in locations like Ernakulam and Thrissur. Other cast members include Chandni Sreedharan, Shivajith Padmanabhan, Shabareesh Varma, Niyas Bakker, Revathi, Vijo Amravity, Ramkumar, Sandeep, and Prathapan K.S.
Following the massive success of Manjummal Boycy, this film features cinematography by Shaiju Khalid. The music is composed by Vishnu Vijay, known for his work in hit films like Thallumala, Faulami, and Premalu. After the success of Avesham, directed by Jithu Madhavan and starring Fahadh Faasil, Pravinkood Shop will be presented by A&A Entertainments. The film’s music rights have been acquired by Sony Music.
