Stabbing Attack at Homeless Shelter Sends 11 People to Hospital; Suspect in Custody

1 June 2025 New York City -The savage stabbing spree at a shelter for homeless late on Saturday night has resulted in eleven people in hospital and some suffering critical injuries as per local authorities. One 33-year-old male is currently detained by the police as are investigators considering the incident to be an isolated assault that does not pose any imminent threat to the general population.
