Miya George, a beloved actress among Malayali, has now become the target of fake news on social media
Miya George, a beloved actress among Malayali audiences, is active in Malayalam cinema and other regional industries. She has continued her acting career post-marriage and motherhood, with appearances in television shows, a recent web series, and various advertisements. Known for her openness, Miya has won many admirers. Reports circulated on social media recently about a case being filed against her.
The news alleged that the owner of a curry powder company filed a complaint against Miya, accusing her of fraud and demanding two crore rupees in compensation. Miya responded by following these reports and sharing the news on her Instagram story. She clarified, “I seem to be facing some legal action, though I haven’t been informed of it. I haven’t received any notice, neither officially nor unofficially. And the caption provided here is contradictory in itself. Why would an owner file a complaint against a brand ambassador promoting their product? I am entirely unaware of who is spreading this fake news.”
Miya has now become the target of fake news on social media, a problem many celebrities face, as fabricated stories often go viral before the facts come out. With Miya sharing her side, fans have rallied to support the actress.
