Malayalam cinema’s beloved actor Mohanlal is making his directorial debut with the film Barroz. This fantasy period drama is primarily aimed at children. The updates from the film, released so far, have already garnered immense appreciation from audiences. Now, the team has released the promo for the second song from the movie, titled Bamboosiah.
The song depicts the connection between underwater creatures and one of the main characters, Isabella. It is an animated sequence, with Mohanlal lending his voice to a mermaid-like character. Barroz is set to hit theaters as a Christmas release on December 25.
The song, composed by Lydian Nadhaswaram, features lyrics penned by Krishnadas Panki. It has been sung by Mohanlal, Anjana Padmanabhan, and Amrutha Varshini. Barroz is based on a story by Jijo, the creator of My Dear Kuttichathan. In the film, Mohanlal plays the titular character, Barroz, a guardian spirit of treasure.
