Oru Anveshanathinte Thudakkam is a thriller centered on the mysterious disappearance of Jeevan Thomas, an engineering graduate and journalist, along with the unraveling of the Vakathanam mass murder case. The film’s story is inspired by the personal diary entries of M.A. Nishad’s father, P.M. Kunjimohammed, a distinguished police officer who served as Crime Branch SP and Idukki SP, and retired at the DIG rank after receiving two President’s gold medals for distinguished service.
Filming took place across locations in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Vagamon, Kuttikkanam, and Kottayam. Produced by K.V. Abdul Nasser under the Bensy Productions banner, Oru Anveshanathinte Thudakkam is set to release in theaters on November 8.
