The next day, I started telling people, thinking it was a silly story. It wasn’t an accident, but we weren’t actively trying for a baby either. It came as a surprise.”
She further shared her perspective, saying, “It’s easier when people figure out whether they want kids or not. In our case, neither of us particularly wanted children. But we were curious—just a tiny bit—about what it might be like. When it happened, we had to decide whether to move forward, and we did.”
In an interview with Vogue, Radhika also spoke about her pregnancy photoshoot and her struggle with self-image during that time. She admitted, “I didn’t like how I looked. The photoshoot was done a week before I gave birth, and I struggled to accept my appearance. I had never seen myself that way—so heavy. It wasn’t just about weight; there were physical discomforts too. My body swelled up, I had hip pain, and a lack of sleep. My perception of everything felt off.”
However, she later gained a new perspective, saying, “Looking back at those photos now, I feel a sense of grace. I went through such challenges and feel sad for how much I struggled. But now, I see beauty in all of it. These photos will always be special to me.”
