Ranjini Haridas recently opened up about her personal life in an interview with Dhanya Varma. During the conversation, she candidly shared her reasons for not getting married. “I get bored very quickly, and that’s probably why I haven’t gotten married yet,” she said with a laugh.
Ranjini also spoke about her past relationships, revealing that she has had many, but the longest one was with Sharath. “Most of my relationships tend to fall apart after about a year and a half. I’ve even dated the same person three times. You keep trying, but eventually, you realize people don’t change, and that’s when you stop,” she explained.
She further mentioned that people’s behavior often changes with time, especially when fame and the “celebrity tag” come into play. Reflecting on her journey through relationships, she said, “I’ve been in love in my 20s, 30s, and even 40s. But I’ve realized that you don’t necessarily need a partner if you have the means to live independently. My mother raised us on her own, and that shaped my perspective.”
Ranjini also admitted she’s not a romantic person. “Watching Shah Rukh Khan’s movies in the 1990s made me think romance was real, but later I realized it’s all just fiction. I’m not into public displays of affection (PDA). Hugging and kissing are fine, but my romance is internal. I can’t express it outwardly,” she said.
