Will Mammootty’s movie ‘Bazooka’ be delayed?

Since the announcement of the upcoming Mammootty film, audiences have been filled with excitement. After Turbo Jos, Bazooka is set to be a grand action movie starring Mammootty. Ever since the teaser was released, the film world has been eagerly awaiting its release. Mammootty’s stunning look and powerful dialogues are the highlights of the teaser. Tamil director and actor Gautham Vasudev Menon, who plays another significant character, also shines in the teaser. Within minutes of its release, the teaser captured the hearts of fans. It was released on the Saregama Malayalam YouTube channel, with the teaser ending on Mammootty’s iconic dialogue, “We haven’t left any role untouched, bro!”

Additionally, the poster that was released earlier created a buzz on social media. Mammootty had previously shared a video on Instagram, where he is seen preparing for the first-look poster. The poster featured Mammootty revealing a bullet wrapped in cloth.

Mammootty’s character, combining intelligence and skill, is sure to intrigue the audience. The movie, categorized as a pan-Indian film, promises suspense at every stage. With a unique theme, Bazooka is expected to offer a fresh cinematic experience.

However, according to recent reports, the audience may have to wait a bit longer for the movie. OTT Play reports that Bazooka’s release has been postponed to 2025. The delay is due to the extended time required for post-production work, and there are also reports that some portions may be reshot. The movie is expected to release by the end of May or early June 2025.

Nevertheless, Bazooka is being shaped as a big-budget game thriller. It is produced by Jinu V. Abraham and Dolvin Kuriakose under the banners of Saregama India Limited and Theater of Dreams. After Kaapa and Anveshippin Kandethum, this is Theater of Dreams’ next production. The movie is directed by Dino Dennis, the son of legendary Malayalam scriptwriter Kaloor Dennis, adding another unique aspect to the film.

Moreover, Shine Tom Chacko, Gayatri Iyer, Aishwarya Menon, and Divya Pillai also play significant roles in the movie. Even if it takes time, Mammootty’s return will be a massive one, and the film industry is eagerly awaiting it with high expectations.
