The upcoming action movie Marko, directed by Hanif Athini and starring Unni Mukundan, has already garnered attention for its intense violence and action sequences. Recently, the promotional song for the film was released, and it’s already creating waves on social media. The song, titled “On Ninte Marpaappa”, has been sung by rapper Baby Jean, with lyrics by Vinayak Shashikumar and music by Saeed Abbas. This song marks Saeed Abbas’s debut as an independent music director.
The film’s first song, Blood, was also released earlier. The initial version of the song, sung by Dabsie, received a mixed response, with some listeners finding his voice not fitting the track. In response to the criticism, the song was re-released with a new version featuring the voice of Santosh Venky, who is known for his work in KGF. This updated version received much more positive feedback. Now, both versions of the song, with Dabsie’s and Santosh Venky’s voices, are available on Sony Music South’s YouTube channel.
In a recent promotional video, the makers of Marko introduced the cast of the film, giving viewers a taste of what to expect. The video also discusses the importance of watching the film in theaters. Actor Jagadish mentioned that the movie is not suitable for viewers under 18, emphasizing its heavy violence. From the conversations in the video, it is clear that Marko is a hardcore action film.
There is a lot of anticipation surrounding the fight scenes in the movie. Unlike some films that feature numerous fight sequences for the sake of action, Marko promises that each fight will have a specific purpose within the storyline, as stated by Jagadish. The film’s violence and action were previously discussed on social media by Jagadish and editor Shameer Muhammad, which went viral.
Music for Marko is composed by Ravi Basrur, known for his work on blockbuster Kannada films like KGF Chapter 1 and 2. The film is set to release in theaters on December 20, and fans are eagerly awaiting its arrival.
