Actor Bala recently shared insights into his personal life, including his relationship with his ex-wife Elizabeth Gold, during an interview on an online channel. His comments have garnered attention, especially his statement, “Elizabeth Gold is always a good person. She should always be good.”
When asked about the reasons behind his separation from Elizabeth, Bal chose not to delve into the details. He mentioned, “There were a lot of issues when I was in Kochi. But when Kokila came into my life, she had many doubts and fears. After moving to Vaikom, everything changed.” He added that he now lives in a different world, where he has gained a deeper understanding of Malayalis and their way of life, including their religious beliefs.
Bal clarified that his marriage to Elizabeth was not legally formalized, but he appreciated her support during a critical time. “I am grateful to Elizabeth for being there when I underwent a liver transplant surgery,” Bal said.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth, who is currently working as a doctor in Gujarat, and Bal separated after being together for a while. Bal had previously been married to singer Amritha Suresh, and they went through a divorce before he married Elizabeth.
Amritha had accused Bal of being married to Chandana Shiva Reddy, a Kannada woman, before his marriage to Elizabeth. However, Bal dismissed these claims as “false rumors,” stating, “People are spreading lies about me. Am I someone who has been married four times? Even if I have been, it’s not a problem. Kokila is my second legal wife. My first love was Chandana Sadasiva Reddy, a Kannada woman. She called me after my operation, and we laughed together.”
Bal also reflected on the challenges he faced after his liver transplant surgery, saying that while he hoped life would improve after the procedure, it led to a difficult period for him. He credited Kokila for bringing stability and happiness into his life after they formed a family.
