The lyrical video of the song “Kolam Varunnundé” from the movie Deshkaaran has been released, and it beautifully highlights the traditional art form of Thirayattam. Directed by Dr. Ajaykumar Babu, who also wrote the story and screenplay, the film brings the essence of Thirayattam and Theyyam to the screen. Deshkaaran is a unique Malayalam film that integrates 18 Thirayattam Kolams (ritualistic performances) as a core element of its narrative.
