Marina revealed that most of her negative experiences were with women in the limelight. She shared a specific instance when she was invited to an interview by a popular channel. “I was invited to the channel for an interview several times. However, when the day of the interview came closer, they would cancel it. Since I was invited as a guest, I had to arrange everything, including the makeup artist and dress. This happened three times. Finally, when they invited me again, I said that if they canceled again, it would be difficult for me.”
Marina continued, “When I went for the shoot, the anchor had changed. The previous anchor was not there. During a break, the program producer told me that the previous anchor didn’t want me as a guest. That’s why my interview kept getting canceled, even though everything was ready. They said, ‘I don’t want to see her,’ referring to me. Now, when I see this person giving motivational talks, I can’t help but laugh.”
When Marina’s interview went viral, some viewers speculated that the TV host in question was Pauly Mani, while others thought it might be actress Ashwathy Sreekanth. With these speculations circulating, Marina was asked directly whether Pauly was the one who had treated her poorly.
Marina responded, “I didn’t say anything for the audience. If I had, it would have been to make that person realize what they did was wrong. I believe that person would have understood it. I didn’t say it to tell others. If I had wanted to, I could have named the person. But I don’t want to say who it was. I’m sure when they saw the video, they would have realized how one should not treat others. But I won’t reveal who it was.”
