Nisha Sarang, best known for her role in the popular TV series Uppum Mulakum, has opened up about her changing perspective on marriage. Despite having acted in numerous films, it was her role in the serial that made her a household favorite. Over the years, she has candidly shared the challenges she faced in her personal life, including her first marriage and the reasons for its failure. Now, her recent revelations have caught public attention.
Nisha, who once firmly dismissed the idea of a second marriage, has had a change of heart. She now expresses a desire for a companion in her life. Nisha revealed that she got married for the first time when she was in the 10th grade, and she has two daughters from that relationship.“Until I turned 50, my life was entirely devoted to my children. I had already told them that after that, I would start focusing on myself. Now, I feel like I could get married again. I need someone to listen to my thoughts and share my life with,” Nisha shared. Her daughters are supportive of the idea, saying, “We won’t oppose Mom’s decision as long as the person truly cares for her.”
Nisha also mentioned her newfound interest in self-care: “I’ve started going to the gym, which I really enjoy. I’ve begun to embrace life. When children grow up, they may not always like what we say or think. That’s when you realize the need for someone who understands you. Sometimes, I sit alone and cry. Life is busy, but during my breaks, I wish for a companion to be there with me. If there’s no one to listen at home, the mind becomes restless. I need to prioritize my happiness and health as I turn 50, and for that, I must take care of myself.”
Nisha’s daughter also shared her thoughts about her mother: “Mom doesn’t talk much or watch TV. She spends most of her time praying. If someone comes into her life who genuinely loves and cares for her, without expecting money or fame, we will accept them. But Mom doesn’t always understand people. She trusts too easily and doesn’t notice even when close ones deceive her.”
Responding to her daughter’s comments, Nisha said, “It’s not that I don’t notice when people I like do something wrong—I just choose to turn a blind eye because I care about them.”
These heartfelt revelations from Nisha have been widely appreciated by her fans.
