The shooting of Maine Pyar Kiya, featuring a cast of relatively new faces, has officially commenced at Changanassery Anandashram with a pooja ceremony, switch-on event, and the first schedule of filming. Produced by Sanju Unnithan, who delivered this year’s superhit film Mandakini, the movie is being made under the banner of Spire Productions and directed by Faisal Faziluddin.
The cast comprises Hridhu Haroon, Preeti Mukundan, Askar Ali, Mithun, Arjyou, Jeo Baby, Sreekanth Vettiyar, Jagadeesh Janardhanan, Thrikkannan, Redin Kingsley, Mime Gopi, Boxer Dina, and several others—most of whom are known through social media but haven’t been extensively seen on the big screen.
Though the title suggests a lighthearted romantic film, Maine Pyar Kiya is being crafted as a high-octane action entertainer. The movie promises to deliver a unique combination of romance, friendship, humor, and intense action—an exciting mix that often resonates well with audiences in the action genre.
The project has already generated buzz, given the success of Mandakini and the fresh ensemble cast, with many eager to see how this “deadly combo” of themes unfolds onscreen.
