Valyetan’ 4K trailer out taken by fans

After a gap of 24 years, the iconic Malayalam film Vallyettan is all set for a grand re-release on November 29, in 4K Dolby Atmos, bringing back the classic in an upgraded, immersive format. The film, originally released in September 2000, was one of the superhits of that year, with Mammootty playing the unforgettable character, Arakkal Madhavanunni.

The movie is being re-released under the banner of Ambalakkara Films, with Baiju Ambalakkara producing it. The much-anticipated trailer has already been launched through the YouTube channel of Mathini Naow, and it has been widely appreciated by fans, who have eagerly embraced this visual treat.

Vallyettan, with its powerful storyline, engaging performances, action-packed sequences, and iconic dialogues, was a huge success upon its release. The re-release in 4K is expected to give Malayalam cinema lovers an emotional and nostalgic experience, reigniting fond memories of the film. Along with Mammootty’s exceptional portrayal of Madhavanunni, the film featured notable performances from Shobhana, Siddique, Manoj K. Jayan, Purnima Indrajith, Innocent, and several other beloved actors.

The movie’s cinematography was done by the renowned Ravi Varman, who also worked on successful films like Ponniyin Selvan, Barfi, and Dasavatharam. The background score, composed by the legendary Ilaiyaraaja, played a crucial role in elevating the film’s emotional depth and intensity.

While Mammootty’s Palerimaanikyam was also re-released previously, it didn’t capture the attention of audiences as expected. However, Vallyettan is generating immense excitement, with fans eagerly awaiting to experience the mass dialogues and scenes of Arakkal Madhavanunni in high-quality 4K sound and visuals.

With its re-release, Vallyettan is set to provide a unique cinematic experience, and fans can’t wait to relive the magic of this Malayalam classic.
