AMMA, the association of Malayalam film artists, often finds itself in controversies. Recently, actor Kunchacko Boban clarified that he has not distanced himself from the AMMA organization, nor has he been removed from it, which has sparked a new discussion. However, he acknowledged there was a minor communication issue. Beyond that, he emphasized his affection for the organization and said he would continue to support all the good work done by AMMA. “I’m not currently thinking about taking on a leadership role in AMMA.”

“Saying that I am accepted doesn’t mean much. One has to be capable of managing the organization. I feel that individuals like Prithviraj and Vijayraghavan chettan (elder brother) are qualified for leadership positions. I’ve never felt that being a gentleman is a burden; it’s part of my life and character. I don’t make any intentional effort toward it,” said the actor.

The actor went on to speak about his friendships in the film industry, mentioning his close relationships with Manju, Tovino, Pisharody, and others. He also has a good friendship with Mammootty, as they live nearby. Recently, Mammootty visited his new home for the first time. He mentioned having friendships with Mammootty and Dulquer outside of films as well.

Kunchacko also spoke about spending vacations with his family and friends, especially enjoying life with his son, Isaac. “Life after Isaac’s arrival has been wonderful. His presence has given me the freedom to take on roles I once hesitated to play.”

The actor shared that the journey to have a child was not easy and required patience. “It doesn’t always work on the first try; it might take two or three attempts. But moving forward without losing hope is what I have shown as an example. The events in my life have become an inspiration for many. Looking at it that way, I feel happy. When asked if he dreams of a second child, he said, “If it’s meant to happen, let it happen.”

Kunchacko mentioned that Isaac loves movies, especially action films, and is interested in learning karate and dance. Currently, he is in the UKG and will turn six next April. “There is a small sadness that he is growing up so fast,” the actor added.

Kunchacko Boban’s comments about AMMA have now become a topic of discussion on social media.
