Chithra’s daughter’s photo goes viral

One of the greatest tragedies is for a parent to witness the death of their child. Many face this heartbreaking reality. The loss of a beloved child leaves parents with a lasting wound that never fully heals. Recently, the trend of videos on social media featuring mentalism performances, where deceased loved ones are digitally brought to life, has been going viral. Similarly, emotional digital recreations of how deceased individuals might look today have gained significant attention online. One such viral photo was of actor Suresh Gopi’s daughter Lakshmi.

Suresh Gopi and his wife Radhika lost their eldest daughter Lakshmi in a car accident when she was just one and a half years old. A recent photo of how Lakshmi might have looked today, created by artist Abdu and shared on his Instagram page ArtoManic, quickly went viral and deeply moved Suresh Gopi. Now, a similar digital recreation of the late singer K.S. Chithra’s daughter Nandana has emerged and captured hearts.

Chithra lost her only daughter, Nandana, before she could even fully experience her love. Although 13 years have passed since Nandana was taken from Chithra, the beloved singer still becomes emotional whenever she speaks about her daughter. Chithra and her husband Vijay Shankar welcomed Nandana in 2002, after 15 years of marriage.

Chithra named her daughter Nandana, inspired by her devotion to Lord Krishna, especially since her daughter was born soon after the release of the film Nandanam, directed by Ranjith. Nandana tragically passed away on Vishu in 2011, drowning in a swimming pool in Dubai. She was only eight years old. The loss left Chithra in deep grief for a long time.

The viral photo shows Nandana dressed in a golden saree with red polka-dots, standing beside her mother Chithra. The image has brought tears to the eyes of many fans, who left emotional comments. Nandana was born with Down syndrome, and many fans have tagged Chithra in the comment section, hoping that this digital recreation will reach the singer.
