Tamil superstar Suriya is all set to appear in the highly anticipated grand film Kanguva, directed by Siruthai Siva. Touted as a major milestone for Tamil cinema, the film has already garnered a huge amount of interest from fans and is expected to break new ground in Kollywood. Now, Kanguva is preparing for a massive global release across more than 10,000 screens, making it one of the biggest releases in Indian cinema history. In Tamil Nadu alone, the movie will open in around 700 theaters.
Kanguva, produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green banner and Vamsi Pramod under UV Creations, is a period drama with a significant budget. The film features Suriya in a dual role, with distinct looks for each character, and a runtime of two hours and 34 minutes. The song featuring Suriya and Disha Patani has already gained popularity among fans, adding to the anticipation. Recently, director Karthik Subbaraj shared his thoughts after watching a five-minute scene from Kanguva, praising it as a film everyone can take pride in.
