Sushin Shyam, known as one of Malayalam cinema’s top music directors, recently got married. Starting his career with the background score for Sapthamashree Thaskaraha, Sushin later became an independent music director with Kismath. He went on to score music for several successful films, including Kumbalangi Nights, which won him the Kerala State Award for Best Music Director. His recent work on Bheeshma Parvam also received high praise, with songs and background scores that captivated audiences.
Sushin married his partner Uthara in a small, private ceremony attended by close friends and family. Celebrities like Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya, Jayaram and family, screenwriter Shyam Pushkaran, and music director Deepak Dev were present. Sushin had previously introduced Uthara to friends and family at the wedding of Jayaram’s daughter Malavika.
Recently, Sushin announced that Bhogainvilla, his latest project directed by Amal Neerad, would be his last score before taking a break. He aims to return in 2024 with something extraordinary. His song Illuminati from Aavesham became a viral hit among youth, and he shared insights into how music can serve as a powerful marketing tool, which inspired this song.
